Ivan Perlaki, Ph.D.
Associate Professor
In his management consulting and management development career extending over four decades Dr. Perlaki specialized in business strategy in business strategy, organization development and organizational behavior:formulation and implementation of business strategy, strategic audit, analysis of competitive position, formulation and implementation of core values, mision and vision, strategic scenario planning, strategic change management and strategic interventions, building a company successful in the long-term, strategic leadership, creating superior experience for customers, managerial decision making and problem solving, effective leadership, executive coaching and business coaching. He has published in many academic and professional journals in Slovakia and abroad. He is the author of three books, about 100 papers and 15 research reports. He is also the co-editor and co-author of 4 books. His book "Innovations in Organization" has been published in two Slovak editions as well as in four other countries. He is a biographee in Who’s Who in the World, 5,000 Personalities of the World, International Book of Honor, Men of Achievement and International Leaders in Achievement. He is a member of the Advisory Board for MBA Program of Faculty of Management, Comenius University in Bratislava. In the years of 2000 - 2014 he was a member of the Scientific Council of the Management University (City University of Seattle Programs) in Bratislava and Trenčín.

In Summer Semester 2010 (June - August 2010) Dr. Perlaki held the position of Visiting Professor at The Citadel School of Business Administration in Charleston, South Carolina, USA. He focused mainly on strategic scenario planning and cross-cultural management. From August 1988 to June 1993 he held the position of Visiting and later of Associate Professor of Management at the Department of Management and Marketing, College of Business, East Tennessee State University in Johnson City, Tennessee, USA. He has also held academic appointments at City University of Seattle in Bratislava, at Slovak Technical University in Bratislava, at the Institute of Management in Bratislava and at the Czechoslovak Research Institute of Social Affairs and Labor in Bratislava. In the years of 2011 - 2014 he lectured in the program Master of Science (MSc.) in Health Management Services (accredited by Semmelweis University in Budapest) in Health Management Academy in Bratislava. From August 1968 to December 1970 he studied management at the School of Business Administration, Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas, USA. In 1994 he founded management consulting and management development company Ivan Perlaki Consulting. In 2013 it was transformed into Ivan Perlaki Consulting, s.r.o.

Jaroslava Perlakiová
Jaroslava Perlakiová is a professional interpreter and translator with long-standing experience. Graduated in French, Spanish and English at Comenius University’s Faculty of Philosophy. Obtained her PhDr. degree in 1977.
A member of the Slovak Association of Interpreters and Translators (www.sapt.sk).
In 1997 received accreditation as interpreter for the European institutions in Brussels.
In 1998 received the 1998 Literary Fund Award 1998 for the best technical translation: CONSENSUS - the most important EU legislation in the field of social protection.
